Children's Ministry

Established in 1991, the ARPC Children's Church believes that children matter to God and therefore they matter to ARPC.

Children's Ministry descriptionOur aim is to introduce Jesus Christ to our children and to make Him real in their lives. We strive to achieve this through a strong biblical teaching programme conducted in a loving, fun-filled, creative yet disciplined environment. The main modes of teaching are through songs, games, play, puppets, stories and craft.

The Children's Church comprises of children from ages 3 through 12 years old. We group the children into classes according to their ages as well as their maturity and aptitude to ensure a good, conducive learning environment.

The classes available are:

  • Nursery ( 3-4 years )
  • Kindergarten ( 5-6 years )
  • Lower primary ( 7-8 years )
  • Mid-primary ( 9-10 years )
  • Upper primary ( 11-12 years )

The Children's church is staffed by more than 30 teachers who are rostered on a quarterly basis so that they can attend the main service when not on duty.

Every teacher is aware of the tremendous privilege and responsibility of nurturing and influencing little lives for God and thus we maintain that a strong personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ is paramount for every teacher.

We firmly believe that the Children's Church can complement but can never replace the family in Christian education. Therefore we strive to work closely with parents to reinforce the lessons taught in the classroom in our children's everyday lives.

Our greatest hope and reward is that every child will, by God's Grace and in His timing, grow to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
