The “Just Looking” course is for
anyone who would like to investigate the claims of Jesus or brush up
on the basics of the Christian faith.
The course normally runs over 6 sessions. Each session lasts
about 1 hour.
Q: How anyone can possibly know anything
about God?
Q: If we can know anything about God,
what important message has He got for us?
Q: Who can be saved from God’s wrath?
How? Are there other ways?
Q: How should we worship God?
Q: What does Jesus claim about himself?
Why should we trust him?
Q: Why is our response to Jesus
important?
These questions and more will be
answered during the course!

“Just Looking” FAQ
Q: Who is “Just Looking” for?
“Just Looking” is for anyone who wants to investigate the
claims of Jesus. Whether you have previous experience of church,
Christians, the Bible, or none at all, this course is for you.
Everyone is welcome. We will respect your background, culture and
beliefs. Tell us as little or as much about yourself as you feel
comfortable. You can ask any question you like or, if you prefer, you
can come along and simply listen.
Q: What goes on during “Just
Looking”?
“Just Looking” seeks to introduce
people to the person and claims of Jesus by looking at one of many
eyewitness accounts of his life and teaching. The course material is
based on John’s gospel.
The course is normally run in small
groups. After briefly discussing the course material from the week
before, there is a hands-on investigation on the passage for that
week. Then the groups discuss any questions that have arisen, and the
evening is wound up at about 9pm. Of course, you're welcome to stick
around a bit longer for a coffee and to discuss any further issues you
might have.
Q: How long does “Just Looking” last?
The course normally runs over 6 sessions. Each

Q: Do I have to bring anything?
No. All materials will be provided.
Q: How much does “Just Looking” cost?
Nothing. You will not be required to pay any
money.
